Moving Items

There are a few ways of moving items around within a reading list:

  1. Step-by-step - good for moving items one or two places up or down. Click on the check-box on the left of a citation to cause the actions bar to appear at the top of the screen. Click the up and down arrows to move the citation. Multiple items can be selected at once.

  2. Dragging - also good for moving items a short way; some users can find it fiddly, however. Hover the mouse over the left hand side of the citation until you see the drag waffle icon. A horizontal positioning bar will appear as you drag, showing where the citation is being positioned:

Moving Items - clipboard

 

The Move to Clipboard feature is useful if you need to move an item to another section entirely. Click on the three-dots on any citation, and select 'Move item':

Navigate to the section of the list where you want the item to be moved. Click on the Clipboard icon, and drag the item into place on the list, using the horizontal bar to position:
