Oxford Reading Lists Online (ORLO): For Libraries

Leganto Implementation 2024

In Academic Year 2023/24 the Bodleian Libraries will be implementing Leganto, a new ORLO (Oxford Reading Lists Online) platform to manage University online reading lists. Leganto promises a more streamlined service and better access to library collections. Existing ORLO reading lists will be bulk migrated to the Leganto system in April 2024. The new platform will go live to list owners in May 2024 and live to students in July 2024. Please note students will have uninterrupted access to 2023/24 reading lists throughout the implementation.

A full programme of support and training will be provided in due course but If you have any questions about Leganto at this stage, or ORLO in general, please contact orlo@bodleian.ox.ac.uk
For a demonstration of Leganto that includes Library view in Alma, please see the video below. Please note that we are still in the process of configuring Leganto for Oxford library workflows, so certain features will be different at implementation.

The ORLO team demonstrated our new reading list system in both ‘List Owner’ and ‘Student’ views.
This event is intended for: Academics, Administrators and Library Staff who use ORLO to support their students and are interested in viewing the new Leganto interface. It is not intended for students who access lists, and it will not demonstrate library review processes, which will be covered in later training.
