ProQuest Ebook Central is a collection of popular ebooks on nursing, medicine and leadership. 

Getting Started

  • Sign in to your OpenAthens account on the NICE website and go to your list of resources. Here you will find a link to Ebook Central.  
  • Or visit our virtual Ebook Central bookshelf and sign in with your OpenAthens account when prompted.
  • All OUH Trust staff are entitled to a free OpenAthens account. Registration only takes a few minutes. Check out our OpenAthens guide for more information.

Downloading Ebooks

In Ebook Central, you can download ebooks for offline reading. 

  • You will need to download free software Adobe Digital Editions to your device in order to read the book
  • Note that there is a time limit for these downloads. They will automatically expire after a set time.
