Designed to support foundational learning and clinical practice, LWW Health Libraries deliver trusted health science education and clinical
content through a single portal. 

LWW Health Library for Medical Education offers a core collection of content for students. The Core book collection has over 35 fundamental texts, covering key areas of study—anatomical sciences, pathology, and biochemistry.

Also included are videos, self-assessment questions and case studies.

How to Access

For OUH readers

  1. Sign in to your OpenAthens account. If you don't have an OpenAthens account, you can sign up for free.  
  2. Go to ‘My Resources’ and select ‘LWW Health Library’.
  3. Select the following if prompted:  Federation: ‘OpenAthens Federation’;  Institution: ‘Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust’.
  4. Register for a free personal account to get access to personalised self-assessment, save your favourite content, and more.

 

For University of Oxford readers

University of Oxford members can access this resource via SOLO or Databases A-Z.

How to Create a Free Personal Account

1. Sign in to the LWW Health Library with your OpenAthens account (see 'How to Access')


2. Click on the blue 'Create a free personal account' link at the top of the page.

 
3. Complete and submit the short online form.
