DanDoc is a collection of Chancery records from Denmark during the 16th and 17th Centuries. Each record has been specifically selected based on its relevance to fish, fishing, fisheries, fish trade, political and legal instruments or general interest relating to fisheries.
Includes all treaties and agreements of international nature of the Danish-Norwegian crown incl. all treaties of the Danish king in his role as duke in Schleswig and Holstein, with foreign powers. The publication of this series seemed to have stopped after volume 11, although it was planned to go on to 1750. Vol. 1 (1523-1560). Vols. 2-11 (1561-1700).
Provides online access to vol. I-XXIII of the printed edition of the Diplomatarium Norvegicum. The printed edition consists of 23 volumes containing the transcription of approximately 20 000 diplomas connected to Norway in the period 1050 to 1590. The transcriptions were done from 1840 to 1991. Expanded abbreviation are not marked in volumes I-XX and the original hyphenation is ignored. Errors introduced by the type setters are not infrequent. Thus the texts should be used with caution.
