The collection has been developed in response to the needs of particular courses in the Continuing Education Department, which has resulted in an eclectic collection with pockets of specialisation. While Christianity is more thoroughly covered than other religions, the Library also has extensive sections on the topics of Buddhism, Islamic mysticism and the Dead Sea Scrolls.
