SOLO is a search and discovery tool for the majority of the University's vast collection of print and electronic library resources. Records for all books which have been acquired by St Antony's College Library since 1990 may be found here.
See the Bodleian Libraries LibGuides site for instructions on how to search SOLO. To discover how to truly make the most of SOLO and other library resources within the University look out for opportunities to attend the Bodleian's workshops and classes.
Regrettably, records of some of the Library's older items (works on language and literature, pamphlets, and journals acquired before 1990) may be found in card catalogues only. Please don't hesitate to ask staff for help with these!

Please don't hesitate to contact the Librarian if you would like the Library to acquire a text. Recommendations may be placed through a form on the college website or by email.
We try to satisfy requests from all members. However, texts which cover rarely-studied subjects are not prioritised for purchase (see selection criteria below). In some cases, requests may be more appropriately directed to major research, faculty or departmental libraries.
The College Library aims to provide key texts for courses taken by substantial numbers of members. Emphasis is placed on the study of contemporary Europe, including Russia and the former Soviet Union, Africa, China, and South Asia. Collections on the following are especially strong:
We generally don't purchase texts which relate to subject areas covered by other libraries onsite. Please see our acquisitions policy for more details.
