League of Nations: Home

Purpose of this guide

This guide is intended for humanities and social science students and researchers but students/researchers from any field may find it useful.

Use this guide to find out about print and digital resources for League of Nations material at the Bodleian Libraries and beyond.

Finding League of Nations publications

  • Over 15 kilometres, 14.2 million pages of League of Nations documents and related archival material have now been digitized and are freely available via the League of Nations Archives
  • The Bodleian Libraries hold a substantial print League of Nations collection which is on open shelf on the ground floor of the Bodleian Law Library

In the first instance use SOLO to search for publications. Not all material is catalogued. Please contact official.papers@bodleian.ox.ac.uk if you cannot find what you are looking for.

For more detailed info about our book collections visit our 'Major journals and books' page of this guide.

Key journals

A lot of journals, as well as being available in print, are available online and can be searched via SOLO or eJournals A-Z. Below are a few of the key League of Nations journals, you can find a longer list on the 'Major journals and book' page of this guide.
