The current collection of books relating to UK legal system, and public (constitutional, administrative, taxation and criminal law) and private law (obligations, commercial etc) are shelved on level 2, the entrance level to the library. The arrangement follows the Moys Subject Classification scheme with shelf marks beginning K to KN.

Works dealing with the law of England & Wales (which for some topics is also UK law) are shelved first at the beginning of the shelf mark for the subject. Any works dealing solely with Wales will have either W1 or WAL included in their shelf marks.
