Books of interest to Art History students are shelved in the Lower and Upper Library under the following classification numbers (Dewey Decimal Classification):
700 | Art - general, theory | 740 | Drawing and the decorative arts |
710 | Landscape design and gardens | 750 | Painting and individual painters |
720 | Architecture | 760 | Graphic arts and printmaking |
730 | Sculpture | 770 | Photography |
Many Art books are oversize, and these can be found at far left of the Lower Library. Reference books are in the Reading Room.
