Printers

There are two multi-function printers in the Old Main Building, one in the main entrance and one in the Computer Room. Both have photocopying and scanning functions. 

Printing instructions
Printing from your own device:                  Printing from the Computer Room

1. Log in to PaperCut using your Single Sign-On

2. Select 'Web Print'

3. Select 'Submit a Job'

4. Choose either black and white or colour

5. Upload the document you want to print 

6. When the print job is ready, it will say 'Held in Queue'                                                                                                                 

1. Log in to one of the computers using your Single Sign-On

2. Send the document you wish to print to the 'FollowMe' printer queue, this will allow you to release the print job on either of the printers

Once you have sent your document to the printing queue, scan your University card against the card reader on the printer to log in. On the screen, it will list any jobs which you have sent to the FollowMe print queue. Select the job you wish to print, or select ‘Print All’.

Monitors

Monitor attached to wall with adjustable bracketThere are five monitors in the Gulbenkian Reading Room. Three monitors are fixed to the wall and two can be moved around to different desks. 

When using the monitors fixed to the wall, move the monitor arms (not the monitors themselves) to adjust position. 

Connect your device using the USB-C or HDMI cables provided.

For Windows 

  • Press the Windows logo key + P to choose presentation display mode.

  • Select 'Extend' 

 

For Mac 

  • Open the Apple menu
  • Select 'System Settings'
  • Select 'Displays'
  • Select 'Extended display'
