Atlantic History (Oxford Bibliographies Online)
OBO: Atlantic History offers an expert filter on essential topics in the study of Atlantic History, examining the transnational interconnections between Europe, North America, South America, and Africa, particularly in the early modern and colonial period. It includes excellent topic guides, including information about primary sources.
CLACSO - Consejo Latinoamericano de Ciencas Sociales
The CLACSO digital repository offers free access to the output of the 313 member centres of CLACSO, which cover 21 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. Currently there are over 30,000 full-text items – articles, working papers, books, and conference proceedings – published by the CLACSO network.
CLASE- Citas Latinoamericana en Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades
CLASE is a social sciences and humanities database created in 1975 at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM). It contains more than 200,000 citations to articles, essays, book reviews, statistics and other documents published in over 1,300 Latin American and Caribbean periodicals.

Dialnet is a bibliographic database that indexes scholarly journal articles, book chapters, theses and monographs published in Spain. Coverage is diverse, and includes over 600 history titles.

HLAS - Handbook of Latin American Studies
The Handbook is a bibliography on Latin America consisting of works selected and annotated by scholars.Each year, more than 130 academics from around the world choose over 5,000 works for inclusion in the Handbook. Continuously published since 1936, the Handbook offers Latin Americanists an essential guide to available resources.

Although this is multi-disciplinary database, JSTOR does index articles from over 35 journals on Latin American topics.
Latin American Studies (Oxford Bibliographies Online)
Though the scholarly study of Latin America, a region of 20 countries and over 569 million people, is not new, the bringing together of various disciplinary approaches according to a single geographic region represents a fairly recent shift. OBO: Latin American studies includes a vast range of disciplinary perspectives, including history, sociology, economics, anthropology, and political science.

Latindex comprises three modules: 1. Directory: the online version contains detailed information of almost 17,000 journals from 30 countries. 2. Catalogue. A subset of the Directory, it contains a selection of journals that fulfill a series of international quality criteria. To date, more than 3,500 journals have been rated and included in this catalogue. 3. Electronic journals. Offers direct access to a growing collection of Iberoamerican online journals offering full text articles. Currently links to almost 3,000 titles.
MOxLAD - Montevideo-Oxford Latin American Economic History Database
**Currently unavailable.** Contains statistical series for more than forty economic and social indicators over the whole twentieth century, covering twenty countries in the region. It is designed as a resource for economic and social historians. It is the only source that brings together publicly available data for 1900-2000 from a wide range of official publications and presents them on a consistent basis.

Fully searchable database of a number of Spanish and Portuguese language news sources including O Globo (Brazil) and La Nación (Argentina).
