The HathiTrust Digital Library is a digital preservation repository and access platform, hosting digitised content from a variety of sources, including Google, the Internet Archive, Microsoft, and in-house member institution initiatives. More information is available at the link below.
On this page you will find more information on accessing and using HathiTrust ebooks.
HathiTrust Emergency Temporary Access Service (ETAS) access for Oxford University members ended on 31st July 2021, though access to the HathiTrust’s Digital Library of several million public domain ebooks and ejournals remains.
This service allows the Bodleian Libraries to download accessible copies of materials available in HathiTrust’s collections if the Libraries own a print copy of the item. It is available to all university members who have a print impairment that affects how they are able to use print. To place a request or verify eligibility, please contact the Disability Librarian (disability.librarian@bodleian.ox.ac.uk) with details of your request. Requests are usually processed within 2 working days. For further details, please go to https://www.hathitrust.org/accessible-texts.
