New e-resource: Oxford Research Encyclopedia for Latin American History.
The Latin American Centre is participating in the Center for Research Libraries' (CRL) Mellon Foundation-funded Global Collections Initiative (GCI) pilot project. During the life of the pilot, members of the University can access CRL Latin American resources at no cost as Inter-Library Loans of microfilms, digital downloads or on-demand digitizations. The CRL Latin American holdings are extensive and are particularly strong in respect of newspapers. Instructions about how to access the resources can be found on the LAC Library website. The turnaround time for delivery of international microfilm ILLs is five business days and the loan period is ninety days.
