The library is open 24/7 to members of the college (fob access is required).
Staff will usually be available between 8am and 4pm Monday – Friday and may be found in the library or Library and Archives Office.

BNC library is a pleasing, friendly and supportive place to study and is intended exclusively for the use of college members (N.B. prior approval from the College Librarian will be needed for any guests or external visitors).

The Greenland and Stallybrass constitute the Brasenose College Libraries.
Within the Greenland Library you will find the history library, Smith Reading Room (also known as Old Cloisters) and Del Favero Reading Room (the main library).
Del Favero Reading Room – modern languages, English language and literature, philosophy, ancient history, classics, economics, management, theology and general reference items such as dictionaries.
History Library – history and politics (access is via the Del Favero Reading Room Library).
Smith Reading Room – physics, chemistry, maths and computing, engineering, geography, biological sciences (including medicine), music and art.
Stallybrass (Stally) – law library.
