To access Oxford's subscription resources off campus:
Use your Single Sign On. Go to SOLO and click on Oxford Single Sign On (top right). For most of our e-books and e-journals this is all you need.
What about VPN (Virtual Private Network)? Only necessary for a few library resources. With VPN you can access the University network as if you were on campus. Register with OUCS.
For further information see the Bodleian Libraries remote access guide.

In addition to physical books, the library also has a number of e-books which can be accessed by University of Oxford members on or off campus. E-books can be found using SOLO or by searching various e-book platforms directly. There are also a range of on-line services which can be used to access out of copyright or public domain books.
