Bodleian iSkills: UK Parliamentary and Government materials - an introduction

One-to-one sessions are available for:
Finding and accessing historical pre-1800 and post-1800 to present day UK parliamentary and government material. Print and digital sources will be covered. We will also cover archival material if relevant. This will be of vital help to history, politics and social sciences students using this material, to include:

  • Parliamentary papers
  • Parliamentary proceedings and parliamentary debates
  • Legislation
  • Government and departmental papers

Intended Audience: 

History, Politics and other Social Science students, in particular anyone just starting their Postgraduate studies or new to using these materials

Once you have booked your session, please email the Official Papers team with details of the area of your research so we can tailor the session to your needs.

Format:  One-to-one interactive session through Teams

What you will need? You will need to provide your own computer with a browser (must be Chrome or Edge) or preferably have the Microsoft Teams desktop app installed.  Please read our guidance notes below on using Teams. You need to be online with a reliable internet connection.
