An online introduction to searching for scholarly materials to support your research, covering a range of tools for finding books, journal articles, conference papers, theses and more.

You will be asked to watch a ~10 minute video ahead of the session, which introduces you to the best tools for finding scholarly material including SOLO (the University’s resource discovery tool), developing effective search strategies and making the most of your results. The link to the video will be shared with you upon booking.

Notice of recording
We will record each live online training session for accessibility and inclusivity reasons. The recording will include what appears on the screen, the audio stream, and the content of the chat panel, and will be circulated to all who attended following the session. Sharing the video beyond those who attended the session will be done at our discretion only in response to individual request.
