Copies of some US theses purchased by the Bodleian libraries can be found on SOLO, and;may be ordered up from storage.
Foreign Dissertations Catalogue card index
Contains some American theses accepted for higher degrees and published before 1973 held in the Bodleian Library but are not yet catalogued on SOLO. Access to material in this catalogue is either in person at the Main Enquiry Desk in the Lower Reading Room of the Old Bodeian Library or by email: Reader Services or by phone: 01865 277162.
Printed dissertations held in the Bodleian
May be copied up to the normal limits, although some 19th-century theses may be subject to conservation restrictions.
The digital download of PDFs is free to the Bodleian library users. However, the other formats can be ordered directly from within the database by clicking on the “Order a copy” icon/button.

Copying from theses & dissertations obtained on microfilm via inter-library loan is not permitted.
Some theses from universities worldwide may be obtained by current members of Oxford University via inter-library loan for the standard subsidised fee.
Readers who are not current members of Oxford University will be charged differently for inter-library loans.
