The Handbook of Latin American Studies (HLAS)

The Handbook is a bibliography on Latin America consisting of works selected and annotated by scholars. Edited by the Hispanic Division of the Library of Congress, the multidisciplinary Handbook alternates annually between the social sciences and the humanities. Each year, more than 130 academics from around the world choose over 5,000 works for inclusion in the Handbook.

Oxford Latin American Economic History Database (OxLAD)

The Oxford Latin American Economic History Database (OxLAD) contains statistical series for more than forty economic and social indicators over the whole 20th Century, covering 20 countries in the region. It is the only source that brings together publicly available data for 1900-2000 from a wide range of official publications and presents them on a consistent basis.

Latin American Network Information Center (LANIC)

The largest gateway and guide to Latin American content on the Internet, it has an editorially reviewed directory of over 10,000 sites.
