Journals with a specific focus on Roman law have shelf marks starting Roman 300 (Issues from 2000 onwards can be found on Floor 1; pre-2000 issues are on Floor 0)
However there are some law journals with a more general legal historical slant which may yet sometimes have useful articles.
American Journal of legal history |

Journal of Legal History | Cw UK 300 J70 | JLH
Law and History Review | USA 300 L65 | LHR

Finally, generalist law journals may also accept articles dealing with legal history - and for Roman law this is especially true of journals published in civil law jurisdictions.
Lawyers and law students should not rely solely on the Journal Articles tab on SOLO, nor become over reliant on Google Scholar.
