The Bodleian Libraries run a range of user education courses throughout each term. Topics covered include -

  • Measuring research impact and tracking citations
  • Using Geographical Information Systems (GIS) software
  • Making the most of reference management software

  • Making the Most of the RSL: one hour general sessions, offered every week.
  • Information Skills and Induction: links to all the Bodleian Libraries' courses.
  • Virtual Training Suite: self-paced tutorials helping you get the best from internet searching.
  • University of Oxford IT Services provide an extensive range of training courses. These include sessions on -
    • Advanced use of Microsoft Office products
    • Using statistics packages
    • Programming and operating systems
    • Working with digital sound, images and multimedia
