Training offered by the Bodleian Libraries

The Bodleian Libraries and the RSL offer a range of training sessions on topics including: 

  • How to search SOLO
  • Accessing e-books
  • Referencing management tools
  • Keeping up to date with current research
  • Using bibliographic databases for citation searching

These sessions are advertised in the Bodleian iSkills programme run each term. 

The programme is available on the Workshops and Classes LibGuide. From this page you can also join the mailing list or follow Bodleian iSkills on Twitter.

Sessions usually take place in the IT Services Offices on the Banbury Road or in the Radcliffe Science Library Training Room.

 

Training offered by Oxford University IT Services

Oxford University IT Services offer a wide range of courses throughout the year. They cover:

  • Use of software packages, e.g. Microsoft Office, Nexus, Outlook, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Excel, SPSS.
  • Operating systems and programming, e.g. AppleMac, Java.
  • Research and reference management tools such as EndNote.
